The Work of the Office of the Director of Apprenticeship

The Office of the Director of Apprenticeship of Vocational Training Council (VTC) is the statutory unit in administering and promoting apprenticeship training in Hong Kong.

The Apprenticeship Ordinance (Cap. 47) which brought about formalized vocational training for young people and helped industries to nurture skilled personnel for development.

In recent years, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has provided incentives to employers and young people who participate in apprenticeship training.
